A little hopeful...

This month, we used an OPK in an effort to help us concieve..... I honestly do believe it "succeeded" due to symptoms (swollen, heavy, senstive breasts, darkening areoles, senstive nipples, nauseau post eating, etc) but don't think my little eggo "held on". My cycle was a day or so late and I passed some pretty serious clots/tissue. I've never had so much clotting at the beginning of my cycle so it was a bit curious. Also had some pretty severe cramping the same night. Thankfully the clotting has slowed down a lot and things are looking normal again.

I don't think we're going to actively try (I'm going to actively try to block my O-day out of my mind) for a few months. Just to ease up with the pressure. Never realized making a baby would or could be so tough. It's soo traumatizing, literally, every month to fail at what seems like should come so naturally.

Big Week

So, today was our first appointment with our ER and.... we cancelled it. This is the week AF is due and we decided to wait until we missed her to schedule an appointment. We didn't want to "waste" money on tests unnecessarily.
We are praying that we didn't cancel our appointment in vain. We are truly trusting God for a positive this week and believe that this could be our month.

I'm praying. I'm trusting God and believe that he will bless us.

I'm testing today (my test strips should arrive in the mail today!) and will update to see where we are!

POSITIVE OPK!!!

We tested Friday after work and were surprised with a positive test result on CD12...... I tested again on Saturday evening and was even more surprised when I my test IMMEDIATELY changed to a positive result! I was floored because of quickly my test line changed!
Here's a pic of my + opk!

We are so excited and hopeful!!
These next two weeks will be interesting and hopefully fly by quickly!

Faithful and Hopeful.
